Pragya Parijat Halder is an accomplished Hindustani classical vocalist, performing artist, and music educator with over nine years of professional experience in the music industry. Specialising in Hindustani classical music, she has expertise in vocal training and diverse musical forms, including Khayal, Thumri, Bhajan, and contemporary music.
She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Vocal Music from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, and has trained under renowned classical music maestros Ustad Mashkoor Ali Khan and Ustad Mubarak Ali Khan at the ITC Sangeet Research Academy, Kolkata. She also holds a Sangeet Visharad qualification from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad.
With extensive experience in music education and performance, Pragya has taught aspiring musicians at institutions including Talaam Music Institute, Assam, and ICPA World, Kolkata. Her teaching approach focuses on vocal techniques, raga-based music, musical expression, and individual student development.
Throughout her musical journey, she has performed at several prestigious music conferences and cultural platforms, including the Doverlane Music Conference, Kolkata. She has also served as a lead vocalist in workshops conducted by Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt and recorded songs and albums for various projects.
At T-Series StageWorks Academy, Pragya brings her knowledge of Indian classical music, performance experience, and passion for teaching to nurture aspiring singers and help them develop their vocal abilities, musical understanding, and artistic expression.
